About First Response Search Team
First Response Search Team, Inc. (FRST) is located in the Big Bend area of Florida. Our team typically provides service to the surrounding area that includes Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. We are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to finding lost and missing persons. Our members and their K9 partners provide their services, training, and skills on a volunteer basis.
Search For Shonda Townsend
Team members are certified Search and Rescue Technicians through NASAR (National Assocation for Search and Rescue) and are members of Florida's Child Abduction Response Team (CART). Members with K9 partners have received certifications from NASAR, the North American Police Work Dog Association (NAPWDA), Network of Canine Detection Services (NOCDS), National Organization Certifying Search & Rescue (NOCSAR), licensure as SAR dog teams with Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA), Canine Good Citizens (CGC) and other awards through the American Kennel Club (AKC).
We strive to provide valuable resources to law enforcement or emergency management agencies, at the local, state, or federal levels, including the Department of Natural Resources, US Forest Service, and US Park Service.
